Masaru's Prayer
Most of you probably know about the wonderful work of the Japanese researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto. I first heard about him in 1998 from my mother who had met him at a crop circle convention in England. For those of you who don't know, he has spent years dedicating himself to his experiments with water crystals, finding that, when positive words like "love" and "gratitude" are spoken or written on paper and wrapped around a bottle of water, and that water is then frozen, the crystals that emerge under a microscope are consistently beautiful and complex. (See photo above.) On the other hand, when words like "hate" and "resentment" are used, the water forms either incomplete and jagged crystals, or no crystals at all.
The same pattern turns up for different types of music. Classical and melodic music creates elegant, symmetrical crystals, and heavy metal and rap create a destroyed mess.
Sound has a vibration and apparently so do our words, no matter the language. Emoto's experiments show us that thought itself has enough of a specific vibration that it affects the very structure and purity of water, one way or another, depending on what type of thought.
Considering that our bodies are made up of 55-78% water, depending on our age, weight and gender, the effect thought and words have on our bodies is likely profound!
So here's the part that I find really striking. Dr. Emoto has said that it takes about twenty four hours for positive words to energize water and half an hour for music to do the same. Prayer, though, sent over any distance, creates stunning water crystals instantly...
Not surprising, therefore, that recent scientific studies have shown prayer to have a dramatic influence on our health and well being.
On a closing note, Dr. Emoto has a new project in place... He wants to change the name of The Dead Sea to one that will bring healing and positive vibrations to the surrounding area. This is so that the years of human warring and unrest in that region will end. In honor of this idea he has marked July 25th of each year the day to send love and thanks to water around the world.
I am filled with love and gratutude for the work Masaru Emoto does, as well as all the water we are blessed with on this magnificent and mysterious planet...
