What is Personal Power?
Personal power is the state we live in when we operate from our deepest and highest Self. When we connect with our power we connect with the truth of our intrinsic nature; that we are magnificent beings capable of vast expressions of love, faith and good.
So what does that mean?
There is a place we can live when we are openhearted and honoring. That place means being centered in the truth of all that we are, even when we’re afraid. It means remembering that we always have choice. It means taking care of our own deepest needs even in the face of judgment. It means knowing our highest values, and separating them from the ones we were told 'should' be ours. It means supporting others how they need to be supported, rather than how we need to support. It means being sensitive enough to be present and loving, even while creating healthy boundaries. Personal power means letting the past be the past and taking responsibility for our reactions to that past. It means being grateful and forgiving... and it means being really, really good friends with the one we call ‘me’.
Basically, true personal power comes out of love and trust in oneself and in life. When we trust ourselves and know our worth, our goodness, we can relax and be open. We find that peace is the answer. When we are in our power, we do not attempt to have power over others. We move toward the possibility of power with. We encourage other people’s inner strengths and self-knowledge. We inspire others to live out the truth of their wholeness and their connection to life. It’s a place of understanding the vast abundance in this universe, and that there is more than enough room for each living being to become as magnificent as we can imagine.
The only real power that exists is the power of good. When we remember this we are liberated into a higher vibration, and here, everything is possible...
